This way to the Uglyman "Sweet 16" bash, so grab yer bag, forget the socks and git ready to RRROOOCCKK ladies.
By the way the boat almost sank at the dock today. Wes came over a 6 AM (no coffee) and helped tow it outta da lake. Pin-hole fractures so might not have 'My Lanai' this year.

Maybe writing it doesn't work. You have to see Dave's original post where I first saw it and my reaction. Just might not translate. I got Swim.com working. Called Go-daddy and they said they had moved servers and the front-page links were broke so they repaired them. i don't know what front page extensions would have to do with anything because the files are hosted on .Mac. But whatever, working again.

Griz, I'm laughing so hard I can't stand it anymore
dat mak iti relly'n on da dud 2 tink...
Griz, I'm pissing myself laughing with where my brain is going with with this string of words. Sometimes you get my humor and I think I can get you to the pissing point with this one. Sorry Dave.
OK, here goes, I'll try:
First of all, just say it out loud a few times. "dat mak iti relly'n on da dud 2 tink" ...............Now you are ready.
Every year we struggle with the phrase we want on the back of our yearly uglyman shirts. Can you imagine the question marks above the heads off all the people that see our shirts in the store or on the golf course if we are all wearing shirts that say that on the back? When asked about it we just say with a hillbilly accent "dat mak iti relly'n on da dud 2 tink...", and look at them like "Duh!".
Or, after ordering a beer at the bar, ask the bartender "dat mak iti relly'n on da dud 2 tink?" After the "WTF?" look from the bartender, say it again with emphasis "dat mak iti relly'n on da dud 2 tink!!" and look at him like he's an idiot.
The starter on the first hole of Chewela checks that we are all paid up, he says "you boys have a good round", to which you naturally, and loudly, reply "dat mak iti relly'n on da dud 2 tink" and the rest of us chime in with something like "True Dat!!!".
Ordering dinner, asking directions, coming out of the bathroom at the Ranch and said in passing walking back out to course to people eating, so, so many opportunities.
Oh my god I've had a "my thumbs all yellow" laughing attack this morning. And it's not stopping as more scenarios jump in my head. Hope I got you there Griz.
Great start to the day, thanks Dave.

Anyone else have no idea what this string of letters, numbers, and spaces might be trying to communicate?
They say it would take a million years for a monkey randomly banging on a key board to randomly type "To be or not to be". Maybe Dave's monkey gets on this board once in awhile.

Hey Dave,
On the spell check thing, it works fine for me. I think it's because I use firefox or because on a mac. Not sure. Griz said he had the same problem. But, spellcheck in on.
Time: Again, it is fine for me, it is 9:19 in Dallas right now, and it says "The time is 9:19". So not sure why the time would be off on yours.

Noted 2 items on the board. It is one hour behind on it's clock, (no dst) and there's no sp check.

Re: Uglyman 16 courses
Thanks Dave!!!
I'm looking forward to cool 95 degree weather. Dallas is Smokin' hot this summer. It's too hot to even take the kids outside for more than a few minutes. Doesn't happen very often, but we are having one of those Texas Too Hot To Handle summers.
I think I'm going to set myself on fire like a Vietnamese monk just to cool off!

Re: Uglyman 16 courses
Great job Davey! Nice grouping of courses and yes, I will miss the Raven, but that was a long trip anyway. One overnighter is plenty.

Uglyman 16 courses
Ok boys, here they are, the long awaited course selections for this year.
1st off let me say it was difficult to get in this year with all the Men's/Ladies clubs, scrambles, tournaments, 3 tee times and other considerations, so I might as well tell ya cRaven isn't in the group. I know that will disappoint, but there was only one late mid afternoon day available on our week. I even got a call from one of the other courses that had been scheduled apologizing that they had to cancel those tee times because of a scramble they forgot about. Some didn't want to book three weeks in advance, but money talks.
So...
Sun...Twin Lakes (new course to some, fun with good challenges)
Mon...Stoneridge (close by... a good course with it's own difficulties)
Tues...Chewy (we all know what that means)
overnight in Chewelah Norlig Hotel (for those so inclined there is a casino with live gaming 3 miles away)
Wed...Chewy (we'll have a coupon from the hotel)
Thurs...IC (our long time favorite finale)
That's it fellers, see ya on the green! (I'll be the one with a beer in my hand)
