I'm a downtown LV guy. Golden Nugget suits my needs. You can have the strip. I'd consider 3 days or so out there. I'll skip the drink all night and get to the flight just in time however this trip. This old cowboy needs 3 hours of sleep and painkillers for the nights I imaging will happen out there.
